Mosqoy is a registered Canadian charitable organization working to bridge cross-cultural gaps between
North America and Peru. It aims to realize the future dreams of Peruvian students, in order to assist
rural communities to achieve sustainable development while upholding traditional Quechua values.
Awamaki -

Awamaki is a registered non-profit organisation based in Ollantaytambo, Peru. Through the weaving
project they run in the community of Patakancha, Awamaki seeks to empower young Quechua women by
providing economic opportunities that allow them to maintain their culture and strengthen their
weaving tradition. Awamaki works directly with 37 weavers from this community, and has recently
enabled the community to build a new weaving centre, as well as provides a fund for educational
and medical expenses.

This is a Peruvian organization located in Cusco whose aim is to "expand knowledge about this place
also know as the center of the Mother Earth or its navel." It does this through sales of ecological
products as well as the establishment of local projects that directly help indigenous communities. This
organization is one of the community projects that we are working with through The Q'ente Textile
Revitalization Society.

The Center for Traditional Textiles of Cusco (CTTC) was founded in 1996 by Nilda Callañaupa. Through
the establishment of weaving centres in each community, educational programmes, a museum and a store,
the CTTC works to revive and strengthen the Andean weaving tradition in the Cusco region. It currently
works with nine weaving communities in the Cusco province.
